Cultural Awareness Fund, Inc. Appoints Lancelot S. Lenard to Its Board of Directors
Ormond Beach, FL — March 20th 2026 — Cultural Awareness Fund, Inc. announced today the appointment of Lancelot S. Lenard to its Board of Directors, adding a community-focused leader whose work is defined by service, cultural education, and a lifelong commitment to strengthening communities.
Mr. Lenard is the founder of Sir Lancelot’s Table, his primary philanthropic initiative dedicated to uplifting youth, strengthening families, and fostering cross-cultural understanding. Through Sir Lancelot’s Table, he supports youth scholarships, leads
fundraising initiatives for scouting organizations, and advances international humanitarian outreach, including programs benefiting orphans in Uganda. His work reflects a belief that education, service, and shared cultural experiences are essential to building resilient and compassionate communities.
Born in Sweden and raised in Hungary, Mr. Lenard is a first-generation American who speaks English, Hungarian, and Swedish. His personal history informs his deep commitment to cultural awareness and inclusion. He is a member of the Hungarian Club of Daytona Beach, where he actively supports cultural programming and the preservation of heritage within the local community.
“Lancelot brings a lived understanding of culture, service, and responsibility,” said William J. Sanchez, Founder and Executive Director of Cultural Awareness Fund, Inc. “His philanthropic leadership, particularly through Sir Lancelot’s Table, aligns directly with our mission to educate and unite communities through shared roots and cultural understanding.”
An Eagle Scout with the Transatlantic Council, Mr. Lenard continues his commitment to youth development as a committee member for Pack 436, Scouting America, where he mentors young people and supports fundraising and leadership initiatives focused on character, service, and civic responsibility.
Professionally, Mr. Lenard leads a family-run real estate, construction, and consulting office serving Central Florida, where his work focuses on collaboration, integrity, and hands-on service. While distinct from his philanthropic efforts, this professional experience reinforces his practical understanding of community development and stewardship—values that complement his work in the nonprofit and cultural education space.
Mr. Lenard expressed his appreciation for the appointment and the organization’s mission.
“The mission of Cultural Awareness Fund resonates deeply with me,” said Lenard. “Its commitment to cultural education and experiential learning reflects the belief that understanding our shared roots strengthens civic pride and unity. I am honored to support work that brings people together across cultures and generations.”
Mr. Lenard’s appointment comes as Cultural Awareness Fund, Inc. continues to expand its educational curricula and international cultural festivals—initiatives designed to demonstrate how diverse cultural traditions collectively shape the American experience.
